ABOUT ME

Everything there is to know

I'm a 20 year old woman from Iceland with a passion for art. I'm currently starting my second year in The University of Iceland. I major in icelandic language and have creative writing as a minor. I graduated from Fjölbrautaskólinn í Garðabæ were I studied arts. I'm currently waiting for a response from The Icelandic Univeristy of the Arts, but I'm thinking about quiting my studying in the University of Iceland to become an architect. I just realized that I wanted to be able to use my skills and creative thinking more.

I have enjoyed making and creating art since I was little. I found out early on that my strength was in drawing but since then, I've been trying out other methods as well. For me, drawing people and other living things is what I love doing the most, but I've been enjoying painting landscapes lately too. Today, I do mostly drawings, paintings, sculptures and installations, but I try to keep my mind open for any new challenges.

Although this online portfolio is primarily for myself, it's also a compilation of the artwork I'm most proud of and would like to share with the world.
